We invite and encourage everyone to bring a dessert to share, stay and observe the graduation, and then enjoy the refreshments.

The Anchorage Church of Christ is hosting our 1st Annual Deaf Leadership Conference April 10-13, 2011. If you work with the Deaf in any leadership capacity, whether as an official "minister" or not, we hope you will join us for this groundbreaking event. We also invite at least one elder from each congregation represented.

The conference theme is "Brotherhood: Keeping the Unity" with Ephesians 4:1-6 as the key verse. We will post the final program schedule at a later date

The event is free, but we ask that you register online.

Blood Drive

Blood is a precious commodity and blood supplies are often low, especially during the summer months. We want to do our part to maintain that supply by arranging for this drive andencouraging our congregation to donate if they are able to do so. Every unit of blood donated has the potential to save four lives.

Please help save a life!

If you love to ride on the open road, come join a gropu of men and women who will ride from the Anchorage Church of Christ to Seward and back.

• Depart church parking lot at 2700 DeBarr Rd. at 1:30 PM

• Stop at Turnagain Pass for a break

• Re-group at Summit Lake

• Arrive in Seward by 4:30 PM

• Dinner & free time on your own till 6:00 PM

• Meet at the Seward:Church of Christ at 6:00 PM

• Depart Seward immediately after worship service

• Arrive in Anchorage by 10:00 PM

What better way to enjoy the beauty of God's creation than riding with Christian friends along Turnagain Arm, through the pass, and then the picturesque town of Seward on Resurrection Bay.

John Coffman's Structural Analysis class will continue to meet every Saturday morning in the Deaf Chapel of the Anchorage Church of Christ through September 11.

Judy, our project secretary, is on Senior Week staff at Midnight Sun Bible Campas as Arts & Crafts director. She will resume her normal office duties Monday, July 26, at 8:00.

Kim, our church secretary, is also on Senior Week staff at MSBC as a girls' counselor. Kim's works 30 hours a week and is off on Mondays. She will resume her normal office duties Tuesday, July 27, at 8:00.

While they are at camp, Connie, our admin secretary, will cover the office during normal hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:00. Please be patient with her!

Kim, our church secretary, is on vacation through Friday, July 9. Monday is her normal day off, so She will return to the office Tuesday, July 13s
