Another Successful Midnight Sun Bible Camp

How do we begin to describe what has just transpired at Midnight Sun Bible Camp? So many success on so many levels!

During the periods of time of June 30-July 4, July 6-11, and July 13-19 many lives were changed. Lynx Lake provides a serene, beautiful setting for all sorts of activities at Midnight Sun Bible Camp

We give you the following summation. One hundred eighty-eight campers, aged six through eighteen, spent many hours doing the following activities: riding on a bus - six; attending Bible classes - 18; attending devotionals - 14; enjoying cabin time practicing skits and resting - 20; schelduled activities of recreation, projects, crafts, and free time - 127; and sleeping - 124. Ninety staff members gave of their time and energy preparing 43 meals and 15 snacks, handing out candy bars eighteen times, washing dishes, cutting wood, overseeing water sports and recreation time, solving problems among campers, praying, singing, and studying during their staff devotionals, driving the boat for water skiing and tubing, helping campers create new things during crafts, providing advice on how to steer a canoe, medical attention when needed, etc.

The most important purpose of this camp is to provide a setting where these children can learn of God, His creation, and His love for all of us. The Senior Week brought a time of rejoicing when three high school students gave their lives to Jesus in baptism.

Many memories of a wonderful summer will be with all of us .
